JAPAN GOLF & CULTURE TOUR

Our third tour just released for 2026 is our Japan Golf & Culture Tour. Japan is one of those places that both conforms to and confounds your expectations. Zen gardens, sumo wrestlers, bullet trains, geisha – are waiting for you to discover, but what will blow your mind is how this country consistently delivers the unexpected. For every Shinto shrine and futuristic city, there is a beach fringed tropical island or a forest trail climbing the slopes of a snow capped mountain. Then there’s the famous Japanese quirkiness – this is a nation where street vending machines sell beer and neckties and where dressing up as a manga character is commonplace! Golf is a bit different too, having lunch at the half way house before teeing off again at hole 10 with a new set tee time. Starting in Osaka and making our way up the island to finish in Tokyo, we will explore the very different culture of this country whilst enjoying the golf on some of their championship courses. The temperatures will be pleasant in May and the tour includes city guided tours in Kyoto and Tokyo, rides on the famed bullet trains, a visit to Hiroshima plus more – Susan Farron will be joining us on this tour as well, making her vast experience available to us.
