We await to hear what the Government plans are regarding borders, MIQ and the requirements around travelling overseas in 2022. Air New Zealand are gearing up for international flying again from 1 February, so they may have had a ‘heads up’ from the Government on that perhaps.
You may have heard that Air New Zealand will be mandating that all travellers flying with them must be vaccinated and from 1 November, the Government has said that any non-New Zealanders travelling into New Zealand also must be fully vaccinated.
We will also be watching what happens over in Australia, with Tasmania one of the three states currently refusing to follow the Federal Government’s lead in opening Australia to the world again in November. This could affect our Tasmania golf tour, but here’s hoping that 2022 will bring a more open and safer world to live and travel in.
