For those of you who would like to get away for some great golf in exotic locations, then why not join us for our Thailand Golf Tour? Based over two centres, one by the ocean at Hua Hin, the other at Chiang Mai in the North, you will be able to kick back after golf by the pool, or pop out to the local markets on the way to dinner at a local seafood restaurant perhaps. The Black Mountain course, just outside Hua Hin is a regular venue for the European Tour. Travelling in March, the temperatures will be very pleasant there.
We have finalised our California Dreaming Golf Tour and prices are now up on the website. The tour will be based around three centres – Monterey, Las Vegas and Palm Springs. The golf courses are stunning and there is even a half day helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon thrown in! If you’ve not been to this part of the world, it’s certainly worth a visit.
Our Japan Golf Tour is already attracting bookings. Japan is culturally very different from us, but on my visit there this year, I found the people to be very welcoming and the country a great experience to enjoy. We start the tour in Kobe, the Prefecture where the first golf course was established in Japan, before moving onto Kyoto. We take a high speed bullet train down to Hiroshima for the day to see the aftereffects of the atomic bomb being dropped at the end of World War Two. We then move on up to Kawana closer to Tokyo, to play the top public course in Japan, with great views of Mt Fiji. Our final stop is in the centre of Tokyo, with time given to shop and experience this famous city. All this whilst experiencing the Japanese way of life, their food, traditions and rituals of bathing! It’s shaping up to be a great tour!
Our very successful China Golf Tour is running again this year in May. With visits to see the Giant Pandas, the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors, plus playing at Mission Hills, the largest Golf Club in the world, it ticks a number of ‘bucket list’ boxes!
In June, our Kenya Golf Tour is poised to introduce you to the original Safari destination, along with some lovely British colonial golf clubs around the country. The tour finishes with an unwinding few days by the shores of the idyllic Indian Ocean before heading back to Nairobi to fly home.
We will be running our Canadian Rockies Golf Tour again in 2020. The tour is a spectacular one – one comment made from someone who has been on a number of golf tours was that this tour probably had the best combination of golf courses he had ever seen on a tour! High praise indeed.
