And then there are the golf courses. Barnbougle hosts two truly links style golf courses that are ranked in the top 25 in the world, and you can play on them! There is also a brand new spectacular golf course, 7 Mile Beach, which we are including for the first time this year. We will spend 8 nights in Hobart, where besides the 4 rounds of golf, we will visit the Port Arthur Penal Colony. There will also be opportunity to visit the Museum of Old & New Art (MONA), a very impressive museum which will sure to be an experience. Then we move up to Launceston for another 6 nights and it’s from here that we play both the Lost Farm and The Dunes links courses at Barnbougle.

Coolangatta is a great golf destination thanks to its access to top courses like Coolangatta & Tweed Heads Golf Club, all set within scenic coastal and bushland surroundings. The region’s mild, sunny weather makes for ideal year-round play, and its proximity to the Gold Coast Airport allows for easy travel. Unlike the busier northern Gold Coast, Coolangatta offers a more relaxed, laid-back vibe—perfect for combining golf with beachside downtime. An excellent mix of golf courses has been organised including Royal Pines, home to the Australian PGA, and the lovely Hope Island course. Why not slip away for a week to Queensland for some mid-winter warmth, enjoying some golf whilst you’re there?
